Third eldest of the sons destined to rule Premia, Shobai was in love with the betrothed of his brother Ano. In a twist of fate, Ano, helped Shobai escape to Moriennal along with Lia Ano Premia - the woman Shobai loved.
However, once inside Moriennal, Lia and Shobai were captured and put through the rite of succession. Both were found to have the elemental powers and Shobai was inducted as an Outlyr.
